THE PAPER
If you’ll try to google “eucreo”, you will surely find very limited information, so let us help you on this.
- Eucreo is equivalent to the Spanish phrase “yo creo”, which means “I’ve found” or “I believe”. Hence, we, eucreons, can be referred to as founders or believers.
- Our slogan, “the more you find, the less you need to see”, is a common phrase heard from Christians. Apparently, the writers and cartoonists of Eucreo are all Christians. But oh please, religion is not a big deal for us! Relationship with God is the real thing.
- “the more you find, the less you need to see”- We say this because as we go through the process of knowing God, and we experience the real love from Him, we realize that “seeing is not believing” anymore, we instead believe that “believing is seeing”. The truth is not seen by our naked eye, it is found by an opened mind and purified heart. When you feel something different inside of you, and you know that it is something right and you feel happy and excited about it, you know God is at work in you. God is spirit. You won’t see Him, but you can feel Him and experience the changes and miracles that He has made for purpose.
THE STAFF
- Most of the staffers eat their favorite appetizing delicacies together during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in-between-meal breaks. Almost every member resides right inside JDC church. Their favorite “tambayans” are DD (dunkin donuts – since it is the most budget-friendly food chain that is open 24 hours a day), fastfood chains along UI (turu-turo), calamares stalls (tusok-tusok), salabat station behind HQ, and our favorite congee centers (gotohan in daraga and legazpi).
- The oldest eucreon is 25 and the youngest is 17.
- Most staffers go to bed early, oftentimes 2am while some prefer sleeping at 4am. One goes home at as early as 7am because she’s working at graveyard shift as a “slavewriter” haha.
- All staffers have their own ministry inside JDC. Majority is in worship leading. Some eucreons are youth pastors, others are members of the music team (All Authority band), the acting team (Motocross), and dance team (Latreuo). Glory to God!
- The staffers have a common strength: multi-tasking

Everything should be balanced. God wants us to rest, just how He did on the seventh day of creation.
